On Tuesday, 4th November 2025, the Mayor of Andek Council, Mr. Ubangoh Helly, visited the site where these equipment have been packed, ready for transportation to the various localities in Andek Municipality, including Tinechung village, reinforcement of ETWII Village, Ajei village, with the possibility of reaching ANGONG.

We shall work with the contractor to see how best the available funding, by the Head of state, President Paul Biya, can be used for the benefit of as many households as possible.

Mayor Ubangoh Helly was escorted to the various positions where the equipment that have been specifically manufactured in the name of the contractor, CAMITEX, have been packed. The equipment have come already with FREE prepaid meters.

We shall expect the landlords of the communities concerned to get ready to facilitate the connection of electricity to their homes.

We are expecting work to begin as soon as we are able to make the roads passable this dry season, especially as it’s going to need heavy trucks to move down the bulky materials, which include concrete poles and three phase industrial transformers.
