A delegation of the ETWII Development and Cultural Association paid a courtesy visit to the Lord Mayor of Andek council last Saturday, 17th January 2026, to thank the mayor for the wonderful work he is doing in ETWII village as a whole, particularly the bridge recently constructed to link BAITEI quarter to Ugeng, two neighboring quarters that share many values in common.

The delegation which showered both the Divisional Officer and the Lord Mayor with New Year gifts was comprised of the President, Mr. EGHABI Jerry, Mr. ESENI Paul and Pa ETAH Alfred.

The delegation thanked the Divisional Officer for Ngie Subdivision, Mr. Oteh Philip BACHE, for the wonderful support he is giving the mayor to achieve his development goals for the subdivision.

The Lord Mayor and the Divisional Officer proceeded to demarcate a site for the creation of a daily market at SCANWATER, ETWII, an initiative of the ETWII Development Association.
The site demarcation ceremony was attended by a representative of His Royal Highness, the Fon of the village, Fon FORKIM David and other local dignitaries.
