Nnder the theme Justice, Right and Action to all women and girls.

The celebration witnessed a tremendous increase of women groups across the municipality.
The were groups that made their presence particularly felt.
Notably, the women groups from Bonamboufei, Abebung, Etoh and many other that made their debut appearance at Andek for an officials ceremony since the beginning of the Anglophone crisis.

The activities of the day included ,
– Match past
– Singing
– Cultural dances
– distribution of maize seeds donated by professor Mbong Grace and the Lord Mayor Ubangoh Helly.
– Distribution of salt supplied by the acting WCPDM section president Mrs, Anjofei Mary
etc
The women were colorfully dressed with the international Women’s Day fabric that were provided by Her Excellency minister Mbah,Acha Rose our illustrious daughter, the SG of MINADER, prof Mbong Grace and the Lord Mayor of Andek Council comrade Ubangoh Helly.
The ceremony ended in heavy feasting and dancing..
