In line with the sustained efforts of the Lord Mayor of Andek Council, Ubangoh Helly, to ensure that all roads in Ngie remain passable, especially as we approach the end of the rainy season, the people of Bonanyang and Bonatin (Etwii) communities took their turn last Monday, 26th October 2026.

In a remarkable show of community spirit, the population of Bonanyang mobilized to rehabilitate the principal road stretch from SCANWATER towards TINEKOH, while the people of Bonatin (Etwii) worked on the axis from Bonanyang Junction towards SCANWATER.

Armed with cutlasses, hoes, and spades, men, women and youths came out massively, clearing gutters, cutting overgrown bushes, and filling potholes — proving once more that development is a shared responsibility.
