The Elite of Ngie, resident in the USA, acting as NCADA-USA, have donated school equipment worth above 12millions francs to the nursery, primary, secondary, High schools and technical, professional schools in Andek municipality.
A consignment of educational materials was successfully distributed to schools of Ngie Subdivision under the coordination of the Lord Mayor of Andek council, Mr. UBANGOH HELLY.
This initiative was generously sponsored by NCADA USA, a group of elites from Ngie residing in the United States of America, as part of their commitment to promoting education and community development back home.
The items distributed included exercise books, texts book, chalk, pens, pencils, rulers, school bags, footballs, handballs jerseys, as well as essential ICT equipment such as computers and printers etc.
These materials were handed over to various primary, secondary, technical and vocational schools, to the sum of about 12,000,000 francs CFA.
The objective of this gesture was to support effective teaching and learning, improve access to educational resources, encourage back to school for students still at home and encourage students to perform better academically and in extracurricular activities such as sports.
School authorities, students, and the Andek Municipal Council have expressed profound gratitude to NCADA USA for their timely and impactful support. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the learning environment and overall performance of students within the subdivision.
The distribution exercise was a success and marks a positive step towards strengthening the educational sector in Ngie.
