The Mayor of Andek council, Mr. Ubangoh HELLY, last Tuesday, 7th April 2026, presented a brand new motorcycle acquired to enhance council activities on the field, to the staff of the council, at Andek.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Lord Mayor regretted the fact that some council vehicles and motorcycles that used to facilite revenue collection and other council activities were either burnt or stolen during the past years of the ongoing crisis.

He emphasized that the new bike shall go a long way to facilitate council activities in the following domains:
– revenue collection
– ⁠hygiene and sanitation campaigns
– ⁠outdoor civil status registration campaigns
– ⁠monitoring of projects under execution, study of new projects, etc.
He appealed to all those who shall use the bike for service purposes to use it deligently and only for the purposes for which it has been purchased.

The staff members then blessed the bike and made it availble for use for the services of the council.
